Fees for Consulting
The Center for Congregational Health is one of the best-kept secrets among church consulting groups. They have been of great help to us in the difficult task of connecting seminary graduates with congregations, and especially in helping students get a clear picture of the ecclesiological landscape. The staff has a depth of knowledge about congregational life today that is unmatched. I highly recommend them.”
Curtis W. Freeman, Research Professor of Theology
Director of the Baptist House Studies-Duke Divinity School

The Center is a fee-based ministry. Costs are calculated on the time spent with the congregation and/or its leaders. The fees are an important part of engaging the congregation. If the church is willing to pay a fee, the members are more likely to give their time to the process.

Churches are also responsible for all travel costs, meals, and accommodations for the consultant(s), and the cost of materials used in the consultation.  The standard fee may be reduced based on a variety of considerations including the size and resources of the congregation and the financial limitations of the Center.  The fees are outlined in a proposal and are negotiated between the individual church and the Center before the consultation begins.

Because of the generous support of our sponsors, the Center can offer some initial services to churches at no cost.  Currently, any church affiliated with the Baptist State Convention of North Carolina, or the Cooperative Baptist Fellowship, qualify for these free initial services.
